psa: use heat protectant
A few years ago, my hair was so damaged from using heat all of the time that my friends held an intervention so I would cut my hair and get heat protectant. I use the one from Tigi, but this specific one is now discontinued. I do love that it’s lightweight and hydrates my hair. You should still be using heat protectant even if it’s not this one because it works as a shield to slow down heat transfer. This minimizes moisture loss & split ends. It literally does what it’s called: it protects your hair from heat.
