"Gentiana." 💙
The villagers said that the orchids are blooming in the wrong season. The weather is strange every year. This weather thinks of a flower, a blue flower, beautiful, but sad, still do not know. In Thailand, it is high in Thailand, do not know how to be dumb. The flower is wreath or Gentiana.
In the past, I only knew wreaths, chic names (really genus or genus) like gentiana. I came to know about 5 years ago. I saw pictures when looking for information, I sent some work in my school days. (Anyone interested in reading about the importance of the name will put a link to read it). Later, I got to see the real thing when I went hiking in Thailand. This is Phu Luang Phu Phu, a flower that is mostly open, but in the shade, I found it on the waterway. In the foreign country, I was in front of my room when I went to Alaska a little, and I was very sensitive to the light. The sun blooms again, and the process of blooming lasts a moment, and as you can see, the petals are slowly closing.
Its genus name (Gentiana) comes from "King Gentius," who used to use this genus of plant roots to treat diseases, but what fascinated me in this genus of plants was its deep blue color.
As an ornamental plant, Gentiana is one of the few groups that provides "really dark blue" in the garden.
Many tropical timber-like blue colors in Europe, Japan, and cold zones are popular to grow Gentiana in rock gardens because it blooms when other timber species start to wilt, and it has a clear contrast color to soil and rock. Some varieties like Gentiana acaulis, G. asclepiadea, are specifically used in the garden because of their petite shape, clear flowers, and good cold wind.
And as mentioned above, dark blue is really rare. It is very rare in the plant world, making it desirable in the flowering markets of Europe and Japan.
Some species, like Gentiana triflora or Gentiana scabra, were cultivated to bloom longer, darker colors. The Japanese planted them as export cut flowers as "Rindo," used to arrange vases and autumn ceremonies.
In Thailand itself, there are some florists selling gentiana flowers. In the flower market, like the mouth of the canal, the market will see the dark blue Gentiana placed in the group of flowers imported from China. There are also pink flowers, but I personally like the blue flowers the most. Try to look at each other. Some are also sold as ornamental plants for who wants to try the craftsmanship.

Gentiana หรือที่รู้จักกันในชื่อดอกหรีด เป็นดอกไม้ที่มีความโดดเด่นด้วยสีฟ้าเข้มสดใสซึ่งพบได้น้อยในพืชทั่วไป สีฟ้าเฉพาะตัวนี้ทำให้ Gentiana เป็นที่ต้องการอย่างมากในวงการไม้ดอก โดยเฉพาะในยุโรปและญี่ปุ่นที่นิยมปลูกในสวนหินซึ่งเหมาะกับสภาพอากาศเย็น ดอก Gentiana มีคุณสมบัติที่น่าสนใจ คือมีความไวต่อแสงแดด เมื่อแดดจ้า ดอกจะบานสะพรั่ง แต่ในช่วงที่แดดร่ม ดอกจะหุบอย่างรวดเร็ว กระบวนการนี้สามารถสังเกตเห็นได้อย่างชัดเจนเป็นเสน่ห์ของดอกไม้ชนิดนี้ นอกจากความสวยงามทางด้านสีกับการบานแล้ว Gentiana ยังมีประวัติความเป็นมาทางพฤกษศาสตร์ที่น่าจดจำ ชื่อสกุล Gentiana มาจากกษัตริย์ Gentius ที่เคยใช้รากของพืชชนิดนี้รักษาโรค สะท้อนถึงการนำพืชชนิดนี้มาใช้งานจริงในอดีต สำหรับการปลูก Gentiana ในประเทศไทยนั้น พบว่าพันธุ์ที่เหมาะสมจะเป็นชนิดที่ขึ้นตามพื้นที่สูง เช่น ภูหลวงและภูเรือ เนื่องจากต้องการสภาพแวดล้อมเย็นและความชื้นที่เหมาะสม Gentiana สามารถปลูกได้ทั้งในที่โล่งและที่ร่มรำไร บางชนิดสามารถพบได้บริเวณทางน้ำไหล นอกจากนี้ยังมีการนำเข้า Gentiana สีฟ้าเข้มและสีชมพูจากจีนมาจำหน่ายในตลาดดอกไม้ เช่น ปากคลองตลาด ส่วนผู้ที่สนใจปลูกเอง ควรให้ความสำคัญกับการวางที่ตั้งที่มีแสงแดดพอเหมาะและดินที่ระบายน้ำดี เพื่อให้ดอกบานได้นานและสวยงาม ที่น่าสนใจคือสายพันธุ์ Gentiana triflora และ Gentiana scabra ที่ชาวญี่ปุ่นนิยมปลูกและพัฒนาสายพันธุ์เพื่อให้ดอกบานยาวขึ้นและสีเข้มขึ้น นำไปใช้ในงานพิธีฤดูใบไม้ร่วงและจัดแจกัน ซึ่งแสดงถึงมูลค่าทางเศรษฐกิจและวัฒนธรรมของพืชชนิดนี้ ดังนั้น Gentiana จึงไม่ใช่แค่ดอกไม้สีฟ้าเข้มที่สวยงามเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของความอดทนและการปรับตัวในธรรมชาติ พร้อมทั้งมีบทบาทสำคัญทั้งด้านการใช้งานและความงามในวงการไม้ดอกระดับโลก
