Why I’m grateful for ship life
Now most of you know I’m in the Navy and I know it’s always about ships so let me tell you why I’m grateful my first command was a boat:
🛥️ You get the what ifs out the way. You start to realize you don’t go out every single day or have to be on a boat in the ocean everyday for deployment
🛥️ We hit all the coolest ports. We travel the most (if you’re deployed)
🛥️ it’s just a work space but on a boat honestly. You work your hours and go home unless you got duty!!
🛥️ You bond better with the crew. We embrace the “suck” makes it more of a familiar experience
🛥️ It’s so peaceful. Seeing the beauty of the sea is such a great experience
🛥️ Not everyone will feel the same but honestly the Navy has never done me wrong. I’ve been to great commands and I’ve had bad leadership it’s really how you make it
