PCOS FRIENDLY DINNER

Another PCOS friendly dinner for everyone! I have been seeing this ALL over tiktok and wanted to put my own twist on it!

Ingredients:

- gluten free pasta (any kind will do!)

- ceaser dressing (i didn’t have dairy free but definitely use that if you can!)

- iceberg lettuce

- cucumbers

- carrots

- tomatoes

- chicken (seasoned to your liking)

- grated parmesan cheese

I first had started on the pasta and making the salad itself while the pasta was cooking. Once both were done i then cooked the chicken seasoning it with ranch seasoning, adoba seasoning, and paprika but again season it to your liking!

I then mixed everything together into one big bowl and served it! You can spice this up yo your liking! Only thing I was missing was the crunch from a crouton! If anyone knows of any good gluten free ones please lmk!

One area I've really focused on is the pasta itself. While traditional pasta might not always be ideal, there are so many fantastic pcos friendly noodles out there now that make healthy pasta that tastes good a reality. I often swap regular gluten-free pasta for chickpea or lentil pasta, which adds a significant boost of protein and fiber – crucial for managing blood sugar and feeling full longer. Brown rice pasta is another great option. Don't be afraid to experiment with different shapes and brands to find what you love best. This small change can transform a simple pasta dish into a powerhouse pcos friendly meal. When it comes to protein, while chicken breast is fantastic, I also love exploring other lean options. For instance, if I have chicken thighs on hand, I might use them in this salad instead, or save them for a quick sheet pan dinner with roasted veggies. Ground turkey is incredibly versatile for making skillet meals, stuffed bell peppers, or even a healthier Bolognese that fits into cheap meals with ground turkey category without sacrificing nutrition. And have you tried healthy sausage? Lean chicken or turkey sausages can be a flavorful addition to a pasta bake or a quick scramble, providing a different texture and taste profile for your pcos dinner recipes. It's all about keeping things varied to avoid meal fatigue. Another game-changer for me has been paying attention to dressings and sauces. Many store-bought dressings can be loaded with sugars and unhealthy fats, but it's easy to make your own or choose wisely.
