Sleepy Girl Core
You guys it's clearly a sleepy week for me...I was struggling to get up again lol
I had a completely different workout planned but the chokehold my bed had me in determined it was a core day.
This is a complete freestyle workout bc I wasn't prepared. I literally just used and 10 pound dumbbells and did 4 rounds of everything until failure.
I know there's some retrograde happening because my body is like drained and it always happens around retrograde time 😕 so if you are like me...give yourself some grace if the workouts are not as intense or productive as usual...at least you showed up !
Happy Tuesday 😊
Experiencing a sleepy or low-energy week is common, especially when external factors like lunar retrograde influence your body’s energy levels. Incorporating a flexible, freestyle core workout using light dumbbells, such as 10-pound weights, allows you to maintain fitness momentum without overexertion. Core workouts target the muscles around your abdomen and lower back, enhancing posture, balance, and overall strength. On days when your energy is depleted, focusing on controlled movements with moderate resistance can prevent injury and support recovery. Performing four rounds to failure ensures you push your limits safely while listening to your body's signals. Additionally, using dumbbells not only adds resistance but helps activate stabilizing muscles that improve functional strength. Workouts during retrograde or periods of fatigue might feel less intense, but prioritizing consistency and showing up to exercise benefits long-term health and mental well-being. To optimize your core routine during these times, incorporate exercises such as dumbbell Russian twists, weighted sit-ups, and plank rows. Always warm up before starting and stretch afterward to reduce muscle soreness. Remember, fitness is a journey—adapting your workouts to your body’s needs while believing in your progress is key to sustained success. Harness the power of belief in your workouts—"Core Workout Believe" resonates as a motivating mantra reminding you to trust the process, even on the sleepy days. Embrace grace with yourself, focus on quality over quantity, and celebrate every session completed. Happy training!
