pelvic floor strengthening exercises ✨🤎🧘🏻‍♀️

I already explained up in the post why and how I knew that I had a weak pelvic floor and I’m sure there are other ways or reasons as to why your pelvic floor is weak. But I’m sure there are other moms out there who have been wondering why things were off after having their child and since it took me a year, I wanted to share.

Also I know my form might not be the BEST in these images, trying to workout with a toddler running around is HARD😅 But I hope you get the right idea ◡̈

✨REMEMBER BREATHING IS IMPORTANT, DO NOT FORGET TO BREATHE WHILE DOING THESE EXERCISES ✨

I will be making a part two soon 🤎

... Read morePelvic floor health is crucial for overall well-being, especially for new mothers. After childbirth, many women notice issues such as incontinence or pelvic pain, which can be alleviated through targeted exercises. Common exercises include bridges, which strengthen the pelvic muscles while lying on your back, and plié squats, which improve stability and control. Isometric oblique stabilization is another effective move that targets the core while supporting pelvic alignment. Furthermore, considering yoga poses such as Cat/Cow can enhance flexibility and strength in the pelvic region. Hormonal changes post-pregnancy can also affect muscle tone; therefore, consistent practice of these exercises can lead to significant improvements in comfort during intimate activities. Remember, maintaining a focus on your breathing is essential while performing these moves to maximize effectiveness and avoid strain. For more personalized advice, consult a physical therapist specializing in pelvic floor therapy.
