If you're lucky enough to have family or friends in Japan, like I do, that's truly the best! They can often find exclusive items or deals you wouldn't get otherwise. Otherwise, popular online Japanese retailers like AmiAmi, HobbyLink Japan, and Tokyo Otaku Mode are fantastic for pre-ordering new releases and finding current stock. For pre-owned figures or rarer finds, Mandarake and Suruga-ya are goldmines. You can also use proxy buying services if a store doesn't ship internationally, although this adds to the cost. Collecting these figures isn't just about owning them; it's about appreciating the artistry and bringing a piece of your favorite anime into your home. Displaying them, perhaps on a stack of your favorite Spy x Family manga books, really brings your collection to life.
