Workout Schedule 🖤
A week of workouts using only YouTube at home 💪🏻
I find pre making a playlist of my upcoming workouts for the week keeps me consistent. When you schedule your workouts there is no wasting time deciding the day of which workout you want to do.
Creating a consistent workout routine at home can be challenging, but utilizing YouTube workouts offers great flexibility and variety without needing any gym equipment. From my experience, having a pre-made playlist for the week greatly improves motivation and discipline. For example, starting your week with Pilates HIIT and following it with targeted sessions for the upper and lower body helps balance muscle groups and promotes full-body strength. Incorporating walking, whether indoor or outdoor, as active recovery days is essential to prevent burnout and maintain cardiovascular health. Outdoor walks also add fresh air and a mental break from indoor spaces, which can be refreshing and help reduce stress. The key is to schedule your workouts in advance, which eliminates decision fatigue on the day of exercise and keeps you accountable. Using popular YouTube channels with trusted instructors like Caroline Girvan or Pilates by Izzy gives access to expert guidance. For those new to home workouts, I recommend starting with shorter sessions (20–30 minutes) and gradually increasing duration and intensity. Mixing different styles such as sculpting, barre, cycling, and Pilates keeps the routine exciting and targets various fitness aspects like flexibility, strength, and endurance. Remember to listen to your body, allowing rest or modification when needed to avoid injury. This structured yet flexible approach to home workouts via YouTube not only builds fitness but also makes the process enjoyable and sustainable over time.
