As a person who grew up figuring things out on their own I isolated myself from people a lot. Being in this organization not only boosted my confidence but it also showed me it is okay to ask for help when I need it. It also allowed me to push myself to do things outside of my comfort zone. I also was a person who was always scared of opening up to others because of my past but I also learned that vulnerability creates healthy relationships.
