giving up my social life was temporary but worth it for my program goals. 😭🥹

This included class time, study blocks for each subject (like dedicated slots for Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, and College Algebra), meal breaks, and even short mental breaks. I used a digital calendar for flexibility, but also a physical planner because there’s something about writing things down that makes them stick. This detailed course schedule allowed me to see exactly where my time was going and ensured no subject fell behind. Next, optimizing study techniques was a game-changer, especially for dense subjects. For A&P, where memorization is key, I heavily relied on Active Recall and spaced repetition. Instead of just rereading notes, I'd quiz myself constantly, using flashcards (digital and physical) and explaining concepts aloud. For subjects like physics or college algebra, the Feynman Technique was my best friend – if I couldn’t explain a concept simply enough for a five-year-old, I knew I hadn't truly understood it yet.
