Why is 23 minutes such a big deal??
Because that girl at the end? She didn’t have much to give.
She had just had a baby.
Was breastfeeding.
Had postpartum depression.
And WANTED to move her body but only had a few minutes here and there between feedings..
And when she took that last picture it was because she tried to do a workout at home and only made it about 20 minutes before the baby was screaming needing to be fed again..
She felt like she was losing herself.
So what’s the big deal about 23 minute workouts?
They could be the lifeline for someone who can’t otherwise figure out how to make time for themselves.
And for those women — I’ll keep showing up so they can find this too. 💗

As a new mom myself, I truly understand the struggle of finding time to care for your own health while juggling sleepless nights, breastfeeding, and the emotional rollercoaster of postpartum depression. The idea of a 23-minute workout felt like a miracle because it fits into the unpredictable schedule of feeding and soothing a newborn. During those brief moments when my baby napped or was happily occupied, squeezing in a short but focused workout gave me a sense of control and helped me reconnect with my body. These quick sessions not only boost physical strength but also have a powerful impact on mental well-being, reducing anxiety and improving mood. Additionally, 23-minute workouts are versatile and can be done at home without special equipment. This accessibility is key for moms who can’t commit to longer gym sessions or don’t have childcare options. The workouts can be low-impact yet effective, accommodating energy levels that fluctuate daily due to postpartum recovery. I’ve found that committing to these manageable workouts made me feel less isolated and more energized. It became a small, positive ritual that reminded me I was still my own person, even amid the demands of motherhood. For any new mom struggling to prioritize self-care, these short workouts are more than just exercise—they’re a vital lifeline to regain confidence and strength. If you’re in a similar place, know that even 23 minutes can make a meaningful difference in your journey.
