Crock Pot Garlic Honey Chicken 🍯🧄🔥

- 8–10 cloves garlic
- Green onions (whites + tops)
- 3/4 – 1 cup honey

Directions:
1. Add honey, soy sauces, chili oil, pineapple + juice, garlic, green onion whites, cornstarch & vinegar to crockpot. Mix.

Sweet, sticky, garlicky, a little spicy… better than takeout 🤤 #crockpotmeals #chinesefood #postpartum #easydinner #honeygarlicchicken
I love how versatile this Crock Pot Garlic Honey Chicken recipe is and how easy it makes dinner preparation. Using both light and dark soy sauce adds a rich depth of flavor while keeping the dish balanced in saltiness. The inclusion of pineapple and its juice introduces a natural sweetness and acidity that perfectly complements the honey and garlic, creating a deliciously sticky glaze. Chili crisp oil really elevates the dish by adding a subtle, aromatic heat and crunch, which I recommend using MOMOFUKU CRUNCH CHILI if you can get it—its unique blend of crunchy chili and garlic matches beautifully with this recipe. When cooking, setting the crock pot on low for 6 hours allows the chicken breasts to become tender while absorbing the flavors fully. If you’re short on time, the high setting for 4 hours works fine, though the texture is a bit firmer. A splash of rice wine vinegar is a clever touch to balance sweetness and add a mildly tangy note. Before serving, stirring until the sauce becomes thick and glossy gives it a wonderful sheen that makes it look as good as it tastes. I usually serve this over steamed white rice, garnished with fresh green onion tops, which adds freshness and crunch. For added texture and heat, consider mixing in extra chili crisp oil or chili flakes if you prefer spicier food. This dish is a family favorite, especially because it’s better than takeout and super easy to prepare in one pot, making cleanup a breeze. It also works perfectly for meal prep as the flavors intensify overnight. Overall, this honey garlic chicken is a crowd-pleaser and great for those looking for a quick, flavorful crock pot meal with a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy elements.
