Cook out food last one I made for the summer🫶

Here’s how u make it

Burgers 🍔

you will need….

1 pound of ground beef, depending on how many people you’re feeding it was just me and my boyfriend so one was enough for us 🥩

One egg 🥚

Italian breadcrumbs 🍞

Seasonings of your choice I use garlic powder, onion powder, Tony’s all purpose seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning Chili powder, cayenne pepper, and cumin 🧂

Hamburger buns 🥯

Lettuce 🥬

Tomato 🍅

And your favorite cheese slices 🧀

first thing you’re gonna do in a mixing bowl you’re gonna take your ground beef, your egg, your seasonings and your breadcrumbs and you’re gonna put all that in the bowl and mix it together. I use my hands use whatever you like then I make patties with my hands and my boyfriend threw them on the grill. Do not flip burgers too much and let them cook a little before flipping for the first time then when they are done put a slice of cheese on each and let it cook until cheese is melted. Cut up your tomato and lettuce and take whatever condiments you like and assemble your burger your way and that’s it.

Next collard greens 🥬

This was easy I just got a can of the seasoned collard greens and added a tablespoon of white vinegar and cooked in a pot till warm.

Then the potato salad 🥔

you’ll need

Potatoes 🥔

Eggs 🥚

onion 🧅

Mustard 🍯

Mayonnaise 🍯

Paprika 🧂

Garlic powder 🧂

Onion powder 🧂

Salt 🧂

And pepper 🧂

First thing you need to do is peel your potatoes and cut them up in small squares they will be misshaped. Then put in a large pot of water (after cleaning them very well) and dice up your onion and put that in the pot of water with the potatoes and boil until potatoes are soft enough to penetrate with a fork easy. As that starts boiling start your eggs and boil them in a pot of water as well for about 10 to 15 minutes. Once all that’s done put your potatoes and onions in a strainer then in a large bowl. Now you peel and dice your eggs up and place in the bowl with the potatoes and onions. Next, you’re gonna add your mayonnaise mustard and seasonings all to taste. (I recommend a lot of pepper) Then get a potato masher and mash it up very well and stir it with a large spoon, mash to your consistency that you prefer and that’s it!

Baked beans …

you’ll need

Two cans of bushes baked beans 🫘

1 pound of ground beef 🥩

One onion 🧅

One bell pepper 🫑

Garlic powder 🧂

onion powder 🧂

Salt 🧂

Pepper 🧂

Brown sugar 🧂

White sugar 🧂

Mustard 🍯

Bbq sauce 🍯

Ketchup 🍯

and Worcestershire sauce 🍯

All you do for this is cook your ground beef, and onions and peppers drain your beef and put everything in an oven safe dish make sure it’s deep and big and literally bake in the oven at 450F for 30 min.

Last the deviled eggs….

you’ll need

Eggs 🥚

Mustard 🍯

Mayo🍯

sugar🧂

White vinegar 🍶

Garlic powder 🧂

Onion powder 🧂

paprika🧂

Boil your eggs for about 10-15 min then peel them and cut them in half, long ways. Take the yellow yolk part and place in a bowl and the white part and place on a plate bowl sides up. Take some mayo not to much about 1/2 cup and mustard a bit less than the mayo and add one teaspoon full of vinegar and a tablespoon of sugar then just a dash of garlic and onion powder and paprika. Then mix and mash very well with a fork or masher. Once smooth place in egg whites and dash the tops with paprika. (Tip make sure you taste test mix before placing in eggs) ENJOY! ☺️

... Read moreSummer cookouts are a wonderful way to enjoy warm weather with friends and family while savoring delicious homemade meals. Beyond the core recipes shared here, adding some fresh sides and drinks can elevate your outdoor dining experience even more. For instance, you might want to include a fresh garden salad or grilled vegetables like corn on the cob and asparagus, which pair especially well with burgers and baked beans. Grilled corn brushed with a bit of butter and sprinkled with paprika or chili powder perfectly complements the smoky flavors. When preparing burgers, selecting quality ground beef with the right fat content (usually 80/20) helps keep patties juicy and flavorful. Feel free to experiment with seasoning blends—adding smoked paprika or a hint of brown sugar can bring out a lovely sweet-smoky profile. Also, consider toasting your hamburger buns lightly on the grill to add texture and flavor. Collard greens cooked with a splash of white vinegar add a nice tang that balances their natural bitterness. Alternatively, slow-simmering fresh collards with smoked ham hocks can add depth if you prefer a more traditional style. Potato salad's creamy richness comes from the perfect balance of mayonnaise and mustard, but to add a fresh twist, try mixing in chopped fresh herbs like dill or parsley. For a lighter version, swapping some mayonnaise for Greek yogurt is a tasty option. For baked beans, including a mix of sweet and savory elements—like brown sugar, BBQ sauce, and Worcestershire sauce—creates the classic comforting flavor everyone loves. Adding diced bell peppers and onions also brings extra texture and flavor complexity. Deviled eggs are a picnic classic, and ensuring the filling is smooth and well-seasoned is key. Some enjoy adding a bit of crunchy relish or a dash of hot sauce to give a surprising kick. Don’t forget refreshing beverages to keep guests cool—homemade lemonade, iced tea, or a fruity sangria make excellent companions to your cookout meal. Lastly, always remember safety when grilling: keep your grill clean, cook meats to the right temperature, and avoid cross-contamination. Planning ahead and prepping ingredients can make your cookout relaxing and enjoyable. All these tips and simple homemade recipes will help you create a memorable and tasty last summer cookout before the fall season arrives. Enjoy your time outdoors with good food and great company!
