Re-upload | If you heard bad things about me.
Rumors can often feel overwhelming and hurtful, especially when they spread quickly and without basis. From my experience, one of the hardest parts is that some people are eager to believe the worst without hearing your side. I realized that trying to convince everyone is exhausting and ultimately unnecessary. Instead, I've learned to focus on those who truly know and understand me, and that has helped me regain peace of mind. Understanding what rumors really mean and how they impact our emotions can help us cope better. A rumor is basically unverified information that spreads from person to person, often distorting the truth. It's important to recognize that these rumors say more about the person spreading them than about you. Dealing with rumors is not easy, but setting boundaries is key. I make a conscious effort to distance myself from negativity and from people who only bring doubt and harm. Accepting that validation from everyone isn’t necessary has been freeing. For anyone dealing with gossip or unfair judgment, remember: your value isn’t determined by others’ opinions. Protect your peace, surround yourself with supportive people, and don’t waste energy proving yourself to those unwilling to understand. Life is too short to carry the weight of rumors and negativity.
