🌾 God Is Still Working on You

🌾 God Is Still Working on You

Some of you are frustrated with yourself

because you’re not where you thought you’d be by now.

You thought you would be further healed.

Further along.

Further into purpose.

But growth with God is rarely instant.

Sometimes healing comes in layers.

Sometimes freedom comes in steps.

Sometimes God rebuilds your life slowly

so the foundation stays strong this time.

📖 “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished…” — Philippians 1:6 (NLT)

You are not failing

just because you’re still growing.

You are not weak

because some days still feel heavy.

And you are not behind

because your journey looks different than someone else’s.

God is not rushing you.

He sees every quiet victory:

- every prayer you almost didn’t pray

- every day you kept going

- every moment you chose healing instead of returning to old patterns

That matters.

📖 “So let us not get tired of doing what is good…” — Galatians 6:9 (NLT)

Keep showing up.

Keep surrendering.

Keep trusting Him in the process.

Because even when you can’t see it clearly yet…

God is still building something beautiful out of your life.

🤍 One step at a time.

From my own experiences, I've learned that growth with God is indeed a process marked by patience and continual effort, rather than instant transformation. The article rightly points out that healing often unfolds in layers and freedom comes one step at a time. This resonates deeply with me, as I recall moments when I felt stuck or discouraged because I wasn't 'further along' in my faith walk as I had hoped. Yet, those quiet victories—the days I chose to keep praying, the times I resisted old habits, and the moments I leaned into God's grace—were crucial milestones that strengthened my foundation. One piece of wisdom I've embraced is to value each small step and to celebrate progress, no matter how modest. Like building a house, a strong spiritual foundation requires time and careful reconstruction. The biblical affirmations from Philippians 1:6 remind us that God is faithfully continuing the good work in us until it is complete. This assurance encourages patience when immediate results aren't visible. Moreover, the encouragement not to get weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9) offers practical motivation. In my faith community, sharing these struggles and triumphs fosters a supportive environment where perseverance is nurtured rather than pressured. It's important to recognize that everyone's journey is unique. Comparing ourselves to others often breeds unnecessary frustration. Instead, focusing on our personal relationship with God and acknowledging His perfect timing allows for peace amidst uncertainty. In summary, embracing the slow and steady process of spiritual growth with trust and dedication is vital. God sees every effort, every prayer, and every choice to move forward. Let us continue showing up, surrendering, and trusting Him—one step at a time—as He builds something beautiful out of our lives.
