School Art
These definitely are not all the art I’ve made over the school year, but this is a good chunk of my art journey during school. And hopefully I can continue to get better come the following year.
Reflecting on my own school art experiences, I know how much creating art during the school year can fuel personal growth and build creative skills. Whether it's doodling in notebooks or completing assigned projects, each piece contributes to shaping artistic abilities and self-expression. One key aspect is consistency. Making art regularly throughout the school year, even if it’s just quick sketches, can greatly improve technique and confidence. I used to set small weekly goals to experiment with different styles and media, which helped me discover what I truly enjoy and where I want to improve. Also, incorporating themes from school life into art can make each piece more meaningful. For example, capturing moments from class, depicting favorite subjects, or illustrating emotions tied to school events offers a unique lens into student experiences. Sharing these works with classmates or online communities like #arttok and #schoollife can open doors to inspiration, feedback, and motivation. Finally, embracing imperfection and seeing every artwork as a step toward growth is important. Over the year, you’ll notice changes in your art—from line confidence to color choices—and that progress is rewarding in itself. I’m excited to keep building on what I’ve learned and see where my creativity takes me in the next school year.
