It's true, I've just been having an absolute blast maining Mercy again in Overwatch 2! There's something so uniquely satisfying about her playstyle, especially when you pull off those moments that just feel like you're 'slapping' the enemy team's plans right out of their hands. You know what I mean – those times when you make a clutch play that completely denies their push or saves a teammate from certain doom. It's not a literal 'face slap,' of course, but the feeling of completely shutting them down? Pure gold! One of my favorite 'Mercy slap' moments is definitely when I manage a perfect 'OT mercy stall'. The enemy thinks they've got the point, they're pouring in, and there I am, flying around, staying alive just long enough for my team to respawn and get back. The frustration on their side must be palpable! Or when you're pocketing a DPS, like a good Pharah, and you just know they're feeling so empowered with that damage boost and consistent heals. Watching them melt the enemy team while you keep them flying high? That's a huge 'slap' to the enemy's momentum right there! It’s all about those split-second decisions: who to heal, when to damage boost, and where to position yourself. A well-timed Guardian Angel can make an enemy Genji or Tracer feel like they've been utterly bamboozled, leaving them bewildered as you zip away to safety. It's like a little, graceful 'slap' to their ego. And don't even get me started on the satisfaction of a clutch resurrection! Bringing back a fallen tank or DPS right as the enemy is about to secure a kill? That's probably the biggest 'face slap' you can give them in the game. It completely unravels their strategy. I think that's why I keep coming back to Mercy. It's not just about healing; it's about control, outsmarting your opponents, and enabling your team to shine. Every successful denial, every perfectly timed boost, every life saved – those are my 'Mercy slap' moments. They make the game incredibly fun and rewarding.
