Middle McCloud Falls is a spectacular sight that many travelers overlook, despite its stunning surroundings. Situated in Shasta-Trinity National Forest, the falls consist of a series of cascading waters that offer a serene escape into nature. The area offers various trails suitable for hikers of all experience levels. In addition to its picturesque views, visit during spring to witness the full flow of water after the snowmelt, or in the fall for vibrant foliage. The falls create an excellent backdrop for photography enthusiasts, as sunlight filters through the trees and the water cascades over the rocks. If you're planning your visit, consider an early morning hike for the best lighting and fewer crowds. Also, be sure to pair your visit with nearby attractions in the Shasta region to make the most of your outdoor adventure. Hiking trails around the falls are often linked, allowing for extended explorations. Don't forget to pack a picnic to enjoy by the water's edge!
