Everything I made in 2024
This year was all about making things I wanted to make and making things I’d actually use or wear
The first one was
my first top:
from “CrochetByFletcher” on Etsy. I used cotton yarn and it has become one of my favorite layering pieces. I modified the pattern to match what I wanted, pattern 5/10, wearing it 10/10
My first skirt:
It was supposed to be shorts but I liked it better as a skirt. There wasn’t really a pattern but next time I think I’ll make it longer and make it fit my size better. Pattern 6/10, wearing 8.5/10
The Pants:
It took a long time to make but all that’s left is sewing on a liner. The pattern is by Caroline Zuschlah on Etsy it’s the Relaxipants and baby the pattern is Pristine!! No notes 10/10 there’s also
a video that goes with it. Wear 10/idk
Purse Charms:
The beginning of a beast
lol
I want to make so many purse charms! But these were to sell to a coworker and she loved them! 10/10
The bag: it isn’t finished, I hate the pattern, it is a very hard to see graph -5/10
A Bandana:
A very quick project! Kinda. I was shown a picture and had to make up a new granny square. It was a 24hr challenge, but my sister loved it and I loved making it for her. I wrote it down so I might publish a pattern. Pattern 7/10 wearable 10/10
Tapestry:
If it was for myself it wouldn’t have been finished.
Pattern: very easy, took a long time 6/10 wearable?? It’s being used as a semi blanket lol
Reusable Cotton Pads:
My most practical project. I used it everyday and exfoliation is actually pretty good. Hated making them tho even if they were done in an hour
Pattern 5/10 Usability 9/10
Hexagon Granny Square:
My favorite make of the year. I was able to use a lot of my yarn and it was a mindless project. I did both sides at the same time so it went faster and overall just loved making it
Pattern 9/10 Wearable: 20/10!
Baby Bonnet
This was knit and it was a bumpy ride. For it to look normal I had to modify the pattern a bit but overall a quick project
Pattern 4.5/10 wearability 10/10
