I thought none of this mattered

4/24 Edited to

... Read moreStarting a creative project often feels overwhelming because we're waiting for the 'perfect' moment, which might never arrive. I've personally found that the magic happens when you simply show up regularly, even if the output feels incomplete or random at first. This approach removes pressure and invites authentic growth. In my own experience, capturing random photos and jotting down unfinished thoughts without a fixed goal created a unique, organic process. It reminded me that beginnings aren’t always dramatic or clearly defined. Sometimes, they unfold quietly in the 'in-between' spaces of our busy lives. This mindset was key in the birth of my project 'Kinaya'. It wasn’t conceived as a formal project but rather grew from a necessity to express and explore. By embracing this informal start, I learned to trust the process and enjoy the unfolding journey, which led to creating a world uniquely my own. For anyone hesitant to start, remember: there’s value in persistence and presence. Aiming for perfection before beginning can stall your progress. Instead, embrace imperfection and let your creativity evolve naturally. That’s often where true artistic transformation begins.
