Before going to the news of the drama, the EV car crashed, the repair cost shot through the world. Nong Warmer invited me to check the straightforward facts! 🐱🔍

🛑 Total Loss doesn't mean being poured!

If the estimated repair cost exceeds 80% of the insurance capital (which exceeds half an EV battery), the insurance will pay us the full amount of insurance capital immediately to get a new foothold, called "totally damaged."

🔋 100% new battery, right?

According to the new security criteria, if you crash until you have to change the battery, the insurance must pay 100% of the full price, unless you choose an "age-deductible" plan in exchange for a cheaper pawn in the first place (you have to check your own face now!)

Battery is the heart: Battery costs account for 40-60% of the price of the car.

High Safety: Specialized technicians are required to inspect high pressure lighting systems.

💡 4 Checklist. Ask the agent before signing the insurance contract!

1. Does the insurance capital cover the full value of the car and battery?

2. Is this plan 100% battery claim or deductible?

3. Is the charger (Wallbox) protected at home?

4. Have a good driving record and have you reduced your allowance?

จากประสบการณ์ของคนขับรถ EV หลายคนพบว่าการบำรุงรักษาและการเคลมประกันรถยนต์ไฟฟ้ามีรายละเอียดที่ต้องเข้าใจลึกซึ้งกว่ารถน้ำมันทั่วไป หลักการของการแจ้งเคลมเมื่อเกิดอุบัติเหตุสำคัญคือต้องรู้ว่า "Total Loss" ในกรณีรถ EV ไม่ใช่แค่รถเสียหายหนักจนซ่อมไม่คุ้ม แต่ยังขึ้นอยู่กับสภาพและมูลค่าของแบตเตอรี่ ซึ่งถือเป็นส่วนที่มีราคาสูงและซ่อมหรือเปลี่ยนใหม่มีผลต่อค่าซ่อมมาก ในช่วงแรกของการเปลี่ยนผ่านรถยนต์ไฟฟ้า ผู้ขับอาจรู้สึกกังวลเรื่องราคาค่าซ่อมที่ดูสูงถึงหลักล้าน แต่ถ้าเข้าใจว่าถ้าเกิดความเสียหายสูงเกิน 80% ของทุนประกัน บริษัทประกันจะทำการจ่ายเงินก้อน (Total Loss) เพื่อให้เจ้าของรถนำเงินนี้ไปซื้อรถใหม่หรือบริหารจัดการได้อย่างเหมาะสมโดยไม่ต้องรอซ่อมรถเก่าให้จบ ปัจจัยที่ทำให้ค่าซ่อมแพงนั้น ส่วนมากมาจากราคาของแบตเตอรี่ EV ซึ่งมูลค่าแบตเตอรี่มากถึง 40-60% ของราคารถทั้งคัน รวมถึงความซับซ้อนในการซ่อม เช่น ต้องใช้ช่างที่ผ่านการอบรมเฉพาะด้านในการตรวจสอบและซ่อมระบบไฟแรงดันสูงเพื่อความปลอดภัย และการที่อะไหล่บางชิ้นต้องนำเข้าจากต่างประเทศใช้เวลารอและมีราคาสูงกว่ารถยนต์เครื่องยนต์สันดาปในตลาดรถปกติ อีกสิ่งที่สำคัญคือการเลือกแผนประกันภัยที่เหมาะสมกับลักษณะการใช้งาน เช่น ตรวจสอบว่าทุนประกันครอบคลุมมูลค่ารถและแบตเตอรี่เต็มจำนวนหรือไม่ และแผนประกันนั้นเคลมแบตเตอรี่ได้เต็ม 100% หรือมีการหักค่าเสื่อมตามอายุแบตเตอรี่ นอกจากนี้ยังควรถามเรื่องการคุ้มครองเครื่องชาร์จไฟฟ้าในบ้าน (Wallbox) ด้วย เพราะบางบริษัทประกันอาจไม่รวมถึง หากมีประวัติขับขี่ดีควรสอบถามว่ามีโปรแกรมลดเบี้ยประกันหรือสิทธิพิเศษอื่น ๆ ร่วมด้วยหรือไม่ จากการรวมประสบการณ์ของผู้ขับขี่ EV หลายท่าน การตระหนักรู้และเข้าใจเงื่อนไขกรมธรรม์และรายละเอียดการเคลมประกันเป็นสิ่งสำคัญ ช่วยให้ไม่เกิดความสับสนหรือนอยด์กับกระแสดราม่าค่าซ่อมแพง อีกทั้งยังได้ประโยชน์สูงสุดจากประกันที่เลือกซื้อไว้ โดยเฉพาะการแจ้งปรับทุนประกันเมื่อทำการเปลี่ยนแบตเตอรี่ใหม่ช่วงระยะเวลาคุ้มครอง เพื่อให้ความคุ้มครองสอดคล้องกับมูลค่ารถจริง จะช่วยให้คุ้มครองครบทุกรายละเอียดและเพิ่มความอุ่นใจในการขับขี่รถยนต์ไฟฟ้ามากขึ้น ขอให้เพื่อน ๆ ที่มีรถ EV หรือกำลังวางแผนซื้อรถ EV และต่อประกัน ลองใช้เช็คลิสต์ 4 ข้อจากบทความนี้เป็นแนวทาง ตั้งคำถามพร้อมขอคำชี้แจงจากตัวแทนประกันให้ชัดเจน เพื่อการเลือกแผนที่ตอบโจทย์และเหมาะสมกับไลฟ์สไตล์จริงของเรา แล้วแชร์ประสบการณ์การเคลมหรือดูแลรักษารถ EV เพื่อช่วยกันสร้างความเข้าใจในวงกว้างต่อไป
