ダイニングテーブルの脚って、気づいたら床にうっすら線が入ってたり、椅子を引くたびに「ギギッ…」って音がしたりしませんか？わが家も最初は「そのうち対策しよう」で放置してたんですが、傷が増えるほど気になってメンタルも地味に削られました。結論、脚の傷防止は早めにやるほどコスパ良いです。 まず見直したいのが「脚裏の素材」と「床材の相性」。フェルトは定番だけど、ホコリを巻き込むと逆にヤスリみたいになって傷が増えることがありました。特にフローリングだと、フェルトが黒ずんで砂を噛んでる状態になりやすい印象。わたしは定期的に貼り替えるか、ホコリが絡みにくい樹脂系の脚カバーに変えるだけで安心感が上がりました。 次に、椅子をよく引く家は「滑る系」か「滑りにくい系」かを決めるのが大事です。食事のたびに動かすなら、変に引っかかるより“スッと動く”ほうが床への負担が少ないこともあります。逆に小さい子がいて椅子がズレるのが危ないなら、滑りにくいタイプで安定感を優先。ここがブレると「傷は減ったけど使いにくい…」になりがちでした。 そして意外と盲点なのが、テーブル脚がX型や金属脚の場合。見た目は最高なんだけど、設置面が硬めだったり、角度によって一点に荷重がかかったりします。脚の当たり面が小さいなら、保護材も“面で支える”もの（少し厚みがあるパッド系）にすると安心でした。角が丸いデザインの家具でも、脚裏は別問題なので要チェックです。 ついでに、ロボット掃除機を使ってるなら「椅子を毎回上げる作業」もストレス源。わたしは椅子が浮くタイプに寄せたら、掃除のハードルが一気に下がりました。床の傷防止＋掃除導線が整うと、日々の快適さが底上げされます。 最後に、記事内のアイテムみたいに“少し高いけど最強”系は、家の悩みをピンポイントで潰してくれるのが良さだと思います。脚の傷防止は小さな出費で効果が出やすいので、まずここから整えるのが個人的におすすめです。
