Her is to me doing my job: instead of just telling the customer that it’s a normal characteristic of the vehicle, I went ahead and compared it to another vehicle. I provided the customer with a visual comparison to show that what they are experiencing is, in fact, normal.
This is a Toyota Corolla Cross, and the customer complaint was that the reverse camera is pixelated. For example, they don’t like that the red line has “bumps” and isn’t straight. They are also expecting the video image to be high definition. Unfortunately, this is a base-model vehicle that Toyota manufactures with a low-resolution camera. It’s only there to guide you and help you see objects while backing up—it’s not designed for admiring the scenery in reverse!
