someone asked me “is marriage scary?”, and honestly it is when you aren’t aligned. saying yes to someone forever when you don’t know whether you’re on the same page about some of the big stuff, is scary.
but with him, it’s not. because we’ve had so many conversations about what marriage looks like and what we want out of it. we’ve disagreed, made compromises and chose to let go. which is why we felt so aligned to take the leap.
