ESO is a husband-and-wife-owned spot that’s gained buzz from being featured on The Food Network and The Great Food Truck Race.

Now they’ve brought their made-from-scratch Italian dishes to Charlotte, and I could not wait to try it.

I ordered the fettuccine alfredo, which came with focaccia bread from Wheatberry Bakeshop (included with every order) and a lemon sparkling water.

Creamy, rich, and so fresh it genuinely felt like something a nonna made.

I waited about 45 minutes since it was their grand opening, but honestly, when you’re waiting for pasta this good, it’s worth it.
