Things I Wish I Could Tell Younger Me

Sometimes I wish I could go back time just to give myself advice. What’s the phrase, if I knew then what I know now…

But since I can’t, here’s my advice for any 20 year olds, from your 34 year old big sis.

Navigating your 20s can be challenging, but reflecting on your younger self can offer invaluable insights. Here are some key pieces of advice: 1. Embrace Vulnerability: Don’t be afraid to show your true self. Vulnerability fosters deeper connections and authentic relationships. 2. Trust Your Instincts: Always listen to your gut feelings. If something feels off, it probably is. Trust your intuition to guide you in difficult situations. 3. Prioritize Self-Care: Start taking care of your body now. Incorporate a skincare routine and exercise regularly. This will help you maintain your health and appearance as you age. 4. Set Boundaries: Recognize when people in your life aren't supportive. If someone consistently makes snide remarks, evaluate the value of that relationship. It’s crucial to surround yourself with uplifting people. 5. Explore Hobbies: Find passions outside of work. Engaging in activities you love can bring joy and balance to your life. Figure out what excites you. 6. Save for Adventure: Make traveling a priority while you're young. Life becomes busier as you age, so take the opportunity to explore the world now. By incorporating these lessons and adopting a proactive mindset, you can navigate your 20s with confidence and purpose!

I wanted to add only one thing bc I’m past my 20s - please travel and have lots of fun BEFORE you have a family!! Once you have someone to care for, these things will be experienced differently and priorities will change ❤️😘 So glad I did.
