DIML: College student edition!
Hi everyone! This is what a typical busy day in my life looks like here at FSU. I always get my day started with a coffee, and once I’m ready I head to my economics class which is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I had composite pictures this day so I headed over to the Alpha Phi house, and after I got done I ate lunch! I then went home and got a workout in, I did a 45 minute full body Pilates class. After that I hung out with my boyfriend, we got Starbucks and did some homework together. I then went to the fair with my friends and ended my night watching a movie! #lemon8partner #lemon8college #DIML #collegestudent #FSU
Balancing studies and personal activities is a challenge many college students face, and the described day at Florida State University (FSU) is a great example of managing both effectively. Starting the day with coffee is a common ritual that helps many students energize for their classes. Economics classes, held multiple days in a week, provide foundational knowledge that many students find essential for understanding market principles and financial systems. Composite pictures at campus sorority houses like Alpha Phi are a wonderful way to create lasting memories with friends and peers, fostering a sense of community beyond academic life. Scheduling lunch afterward helps maintain energy and focus for afternoon activities. Incorporating a 45-minute full body Pilates workout into a busy schedule is a smart approach to maintaining physical health, improving flexibility, and reducing stress. Pilates is known for enhancing core strength and overall well-being, which can greatly benefit students coping with academic pressures. Social interactions, such as spending time with a significant other over Starbucks or participating in group homework sessions, combine productivity with relationship building. This social balance is key to mental health and academic success. Attending fairs and ending the day with leisure activities like watching movies contributes to a well-rounded college experience. Such events offer opportunities for relaxation, cultural engagement, and networking with peers. Students looking to emulate this balanced daily routine should consider planning their schedules to include consistent study times, physical activity, and social engagements. Time management tools, campus resources, and peer support can enhance this balance. Ultimately, maintaining a structured yet flexible daily plan helps college students thrive academically and personally.

A day in the life of a college student, sounds pretty hectic but also fun! My college days were not this exciting lol.
