DIML as a college student 🕯️💌

Hi everyone! As a college student majoring in political science and business management, life is constantly moving. This is what a typical day in the life looks like for me :) I like to start my day off by always making my bed, it helps me feel motivated especially since I have to wake up early most days. I always make sure to drink my morning coffee, and make it to class on time. I also need to stay active throughout the day, so apart from walking to class I make it to the gym. Today I hit legs! I have a big accounting exam coming up, so I spent most of my evening studying!! 📚 #lemon8partner #lemon8college #diml #collegestudent #fsu

Starting the day by making your bed sets a productive tone and helps maintain motivation throughout a hectic schedule. Coffee isn’t just a morning pick-me-up but also an integral part of the daily ritual that prepares the mind for learning and engagement. Physical activity plays a significant role in staying energized and focused. Walking between classes is a natural way to keep moving, but incorporating gym sessions, such as leg day workouts, can boost endurance and mental sharpness which is essential during exam seasons. Prioritizing fitness can also alleviate stress, making study sessions more effective. Studying for demanding courses like accounting requires discipline and planning. Breaking study material into manageable parts and reviewing notes progressively, as seen in DIML’s approach, helps reinforce key concepts. Revisiting topics such as supply elasticity and marginal analysis reflects the importance of understanding core principles in economics and business, which complement political science studies. Campus life also offers moments of beauty and relaxation, like walking through a picturesque campus or enjoying healthy meals such as poke bowls. These small joys contribute to a balanced lifestyle that enhances both mental health and academic performance. For students juggling multiple interests and subjects, organization tools like note-taking and time-blocking study hours create structure amidst busy days. Engaging with communities, such as those around #lemon8college or #diml, can provide support and shared motivation. Overall, DIML’s daily routine highlights the value of consistency, self-care, and prioritizing both mind and body, which are essential for success in college and beyond.
