Balancing college life and work can be challenging yet rewarding. In this article, I share my daily routine, beginning with my morning drop-off shift at the elementary school. Mornings at 6:50 AM start with school duties, and by 8:30 AM, I prepare for the college day ahead. Coffee is my essential fuel at 9:15 AM to keep my energy levels up for a busy day filled with lessons and homework. Teaching young learners requires patience and creativity. I engage with 1st and 2nd graders by making learning fun through interactive activities. Utilizing educational resources and creative lesson plans enhances their learning experience. Post-teaching, I squeeze in time for homework around 11 AM and enjoy lunch at noon, which is a vital break in my hectic schedule. The combination of work and education can instill time management skills that are invaluable. Board games and hands-on activities can be excellent for engaging students while also allowing me to develop my teaching style and classroom management skills. I recommend fellow college students considering similar paths to seek experiences in educational settings; it not only provides practical skills but also enriches their overall learning journey. Networking opportunities also arise in these environments, potentially leading to future career paths in education or related fields. If you're balancing work and studies, remember to prioritize your mental health and seek support when needed. The experience is as much about personal growth as it is about academic success.

Are you in school for teaching?? Or do you already have a degree in teaching??
