Hey, family! 👋🏾 Today’s word is one we don’t hear often, but it’s so needed.
Jude 1:22 says, "And on some have COMPASSION, making a DISTINCTION." 🕊️
This is about how we treat BELIEVERS who are struggling with DOUBT. And let’s be honest—DOUBT happens! Sometimes, life hits us HARD. We experience PAIN, LOSS, or things we just don’t understand. Maybe we hear something that shakes our faith. Maybe we read something in the Bible that doesn’t make sense. Or maybe the enemy is just whispering LIES.
When that happens, how do WE respond—to ourselves and others? 🤔 Do we show COMPASSION and GRACE or do we get impatient and harsh? 😬
Here’s the thing: Jesus NEVER condemned those who wrestled with faith. When Peter doubted, He reached for him. When Thomas questioned, He showed him His scars. When people struggled, He met them with LOVE, not REBUKE.
That’s our standard! 🙌🏾 We are called to WALK IN LOVE. To listen, to encourage, and to gently lead others back to TRUTH. We don’t dismiss, we don’t mock, and we don’t give up on them. Because let’s be real—we’ve ALL had our moments.
So today read Romans 14:1 📖 and Hebrews 4:15 📖 then let’s choose COMPASSION. Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus. And if YOU’RE struggling with doubt, know this—God is not angry with you. He’s not disappointed. He’s drawing you closer. Lean in. He’s got you. 💙🙏🏾

In a world filled with uncertainty and hardship, compassion becomes a beacon of hope. Jude 1:22 reminds us to exercise compassion, especially towards those who are fighting their doubts. Life’s challenges can shake our faith, leading to moments of vulnerability. Followers of Christ are encouraged to emulate Jesus’ love by supporting one another in difficult times. Jesus never shunned those who struggled; instead, He welcomed them with open arms. By actively listening and guiding gently, we create transformative spaces for healing and understanding. This journey begins with recognizing our shared experiences of doubt and acknowledging that everyone has their struggles. To cultivate a heart of mercy, we must pray for guidance. Asking God to help us be reflections of His unwavering grace can change the way we interact with others. This prayer aligns with our call to build communities rooted in love and acceptance, making room for open and honest conversations. When faced with someone doubting or questioning, respond with love rather than judgment. Open dialogues can lead to deeper connections, fostering a community where faith is nurtured. The strength of our faith is often tested in adversity, but together, we can uplift each other, reminding one another of our worth and the steadfastness of God's promises. Let’s draw closer to God through prayer and action, nurturing a spirit of unity and understanding. Let’s embody the heart of Christ by being merciful, as we navigate our faith journeys together.
