Hey my beautiful fam! 💛 I’m here in Bethesda, Maryland for our family reunion and y’all… my heart is so FULL 🥹❤️! Just sitting around with cousins, aunties, uncles, and elders I haven’t seen in forever reminds me that FAMILY is a GIFT straight from the heart of GOD 🙌🏾.
From the very beginning, God DESIGNED us to do life together—not in isolation but in community, through FAMILY 💕. It’s no mistake that the Bible is full of genealogies, tribes, and households. God takes FAMILY seriously 👑.
And y’all… if YOU have family near or far—LOVE ON THEM 💌. Forgive that petty stuff. Make that call 📞. Book that flight ✈️. Plan that reunion 🗓️. Don’t wait until the funeral to see faces that should’ve been hugged at the dinner table 🍽️.
This reunion reminded me how much I NEED my people. We LAUGHED 😂, we ATE 🥗, we PRAYED 🙏🏾, and we shared STORIES 📖. All in the first day😍!!!!That’s what it’s about. God said in Psalm 133:1, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!”
