Here’s a REALITY check 💡… if what you’re doing doesn’t draw you closer to GOD, it’s not BIBLICAL FASTING 🙏🏾. It may be DISCIPLINE, but it’s not FASTING 🔥.

Fasting is about DENYING the flesh 🍽️ and FEEDING your SPIRIT 📖. It’s about replacing FOOD with PRAYER 🙏🏾, WORSHIP 🎶, and SEEKING God’s FACE 👀. It’s about DEPENDENCE on Him, not just TEMPORARY DISCOMFORT.

When we FAST, we are saying, “Lord, I need YOU more than anything” 🤍✨. That’s where BREAKTHROUGH 💥 and CLARITY come. Not in the act itself… but in the CONNECTION 🕊️. No judgement, just TRUTH!

So during this season, don’t just give something up… REPLACE it 🙌🏾. Make room for GOD and watch how He MOVES in your life 💫.
