When I first began to notice the signs of toxic attachment in my own life, it was challenging to accept—especially when someone you care about repeatedly shows their true colors. The phrase "When someone shows you who they are, believe them" really resonated with me and became a mantra for setting healthier boundaries. The key was realizing that holding on to these unhealthy connections only prolonged my emotional struggle and prevented me from thriving. One helpful method was to identify patterns such as breadcrumbing—those small, inconsistent signals of interest that keep you hoping for more. Recognizing this helped me weaken its hold on my emotions and stop chasing empty promises. Additionally, reflecting on spiritual values, like those from the idea of being part of a "Chosen Nation" or feeling connected through love, provided strength and a sense of purpose during tough moments. I also found it essential to practice self-compassion and patience as I worked through releasing toxic attachments. It isn't a quick fix but a gradual process of healing, often starting with the simple act of saying no to what doesn't serve your wellbeing. Over time, this journey led to deeper self-love and healthier relationships, grounded on mutual respect rather than codependency. For anyone struggling with similar experiences, my advice is to trust your intuition, set clear boundaries, and seek supportive communities or resources that reinforce positive growth. Letting go of toxic attachment styles isn't just about distancing from others—it's about reconnecting with your true self and embracing the love you deserve.

Submission — Let’s talk about it.
You know you’re having a good Bible study with God when you’re mind-blown and convicted all in the same sitting 😭 Think with me for a second… when you picture the Proverbs 31 woman, what do you see? For me, it’s a focused woman. The backbone of her family. As I explore these verses, I’m struck by t
