What no one tells you about being a military wife❤️🩹
Being a military wife is something I thought I was prepared for… but I wasn’t.
That last hug before bootcamp changed everything. I went from having my person every day… to feeling completely alone.
I cried every day and every night for two weeks straight, not even knowing what to do with myself. And the hardest part? Feeling like no one truly understands what you’re going through.
You start isolating yourself. You overthink everything… especially their safety. And somehow your world starts to revolve around waiting—waiting for a letter, waiting for any kind of connection.
But in the middle of all of that… something beautiful happens too.
We stopped taking each other for granted. Our communication got stronger, our love got deeper, and we grew closer emotionally and spiritually—even from a distance.
It made me realize how much the little things meant… the everyday moments you never think twice about until they’re gone.
And through prayer, through God, and through other women who understand this life… I’ve learned I’m not as alone as I felt. 🤍
If you’re going through this too… I see you.
