Goodbye to oversharing my life ❤️

I appreciate all of the love & support I’ve received on this app while sharing my life and story with all of you. I’ve decided my “hustle era” is over. Taking a good, long (possibly forever) break from social media. ❤️

3/1 Edited to

... Read moreOver time, I realized that the constant urge to share every moment on social media wasn’t bringing me happiness—it was draining my mental energy. Like many, I was caught up in the chase for likes, comments, and follower growth, but this only intensified anxiety and self-doubt. The more I posted, the more I felt pressured to maintain a perfect online persona, which is exhausting and unsustainable. One of the hardest lessons was recognizing how this online hustle affected my personal life. My parenting and marriage suffered because I was so preoccupied with my phone and online feedback that I wasn’t fully present with my family. The cycle of checking notifications and reacting to negative comments created constant stress, which took a toll on my emotional health. Taking a meaningful break from social media is my way to reclaim peace and live authentically. It’s about focusing on mental and spiritual growth without external validation. This break also allows space to enjoy simple moments with loved ones rather than capturing them for an audience. For anyone feeling overwhelmed by social media, know that it’s okay to step back. Social platforms can offer income and connections, but not at the cost of your well-being. Prioritizing yourself means setting boundaries—like limiting screen time and curating your online engagement—to protect your mental health. In embracing this change, I encourage others to reflect on how social media affects their mood and relationships. Sometimes, less sharing means more living. The benefits I’ve noticed include improved focus, deeper connections, and a clearer sense of self. It’s a personal journey, but one worth taking if you want to restore balance between your digital and real life.
