Like my entire FYP is discourse on things that SHOULDN’T HAVE ANY DISCOURSE? Do none of you have original ideas or thoughts?
In today’s social media landscape, it often feels like people are stuck in endless cycles of discourse about topics that don’t really need debate. This can be exhausting for creators and viewers alike. From personal experience, I’ve noticed that when a trend or issue becomes over-discussed, it tends to overshadow genuinely original content that could offer new ideas or perspectives. Interestingly, some content creators turn to their audiences for support in very personal ways, such as asking for financial help with medical treatments like dental care. While this shows vulnerability and community building, it also adds another layer to content dynamics, influencing how discourse unfolds online. What’s important is to strike a balance. While it’s natural for certain controversial topics to gain traction, creators and followers alike benefit from encouraging fresh viewpoints and stepping away from drama-heavy content. This shift not only improves the quality of discourse but also nurtures creativity and meaningful connection. Ultimately, breaking free from repetitive online drama requires conscious effort. By engaging with diverse ideas and supporting original content, we can help foster a more positive and enriching social media environment.
