Wow what a year it has been! I've grown so much in my personal style (mostly in crochet) and I've learned a lot about what it takes to be a fiber artist!
This coming year, I will most likely be venturing more out of my vintage comfort zone and trying to learn more about J-Fashion sewing techniques and fabrics. Who knows where the wind will take me though bc I far too often plan for things that don't make it into fruition 😅
I hope to become not only better at my craft this coming year but also to become better at explaining my thoughts/content creating. This was the first year where I really just kinda... created when I wanted to rather than feeling obligated to post daily and I really want to take that extra time I've gained by becoming better at the actual creator side of things 💕
I've already got a queue of things to create bc it is finally lovecore season and I cannot wait to show y'all!
Thanks for your encouragement and helping me become more and more brave!
Btw I'll have a long form video out on my YouTube in 2-3 weeks if y'all wanna see the whole year kinda broken down! 💕

As a fiber artist, creating unique crochet pieces is a journey of self-expression and exploration. In 2024, I focused on a variety of projects that reflect my evolving personal style, including items like the SisLove Shawl, a multifunctional wrap skirt, and various accessories such as fingerless gloves and caps. Crochet not only enhances personal fashion, but also builds community among makers and enthusiasts alike. This year, I've embraced the challenge of stepping out of my vintage comfort zone to experiment with J-Fashion sewing techniques, enriching my craft even further. Additionally, sharing my experiences through a planned long-form YouTube video will allow me to connect with others and inspire fellow creators. Engaging with hashtags like #fiberart, #crochet, and #jfashion helps our community thrive, showcasing the beauty and creativity inherent in handmade fashion. I'm excited for what the future holds and the projects that lie ahead as I continue my journey in fiber arts!
