ðŦð· What is the DELF A1 exam?
DELF A1 is the Beginner French Certificate for beginners. The exam focuses on basic everyday communication.
ð Structure and time of examination (total 1 hour 20 minutes)
âķ: Listening: 15 minutes
Listen to a short audio clip about everyday life (open for 2 rounds) and answer the question.
âķ: Reading: 30 minutes
Read a short message, such as a postcard, a placard, or an advertisement, and capture the importance.
âķ â Writing (Writing): 30 minutes
Fill in the basic form and write a short message (about 40 words).
âķ: Speaking (Speaking): 5 minutes
Introduce yourself and interact with the exam judges.
ðĄ Tips to practice
1. Don't forget audio files: Listening part training is very important. It really requires listening from audio files, not just reading from scripts.
2. Focus on the vocabulary around: Practice vocabulary on family, hobbies, food, and timekeeping
3.Check the answer: In most PDF files, there is always an "Answer Key" or French called "Grille de correction" at the end of the volume.
