Only the girls that want the juiciest pump watch until the end😌🙂↕️🫶🏻
From my personal experience, focusing on a few well-chosen exercises each leg day can yield incredible results without overwhelming your schedule. Coach Jess’s routine highlights four essential movements, which I’ve found to be effective in targeting all areas of the legs and glutes. Starting with hip thrusts, holding the final rep for at least five seconds is a great tip that really increases muscle engagement and pump. It’s important to progressively increase the weight while maintaining proper form to avoid injury and maximize results. The Bulgarian split squat with a plate under the front foot allows for a deeper lunge, which I can personally attest to enhancing the range of motion and activating the glute muscles more intensely. This minor adjustment helped me overcome plateaus in muscle growth. Hamstring curls are essential, especially when balancing strength differences between legs. Coach Jess mentions doing extra sets on the weaker leg, which is excellent advice to correct imbalances and prevent injuries. Leg extensions might be challenging if you have past knee issues, but incorporating isometric holds on the weaker leg, as suggested, can gradually rebuild strength and stability. Listening to your body and progressing carefully is key here. Consistency over the long term has been transformative for me. You don’t need a dozen exercises; the right four done with focus and intention can sustain and grow your leg muscle mass effectively. It’s all about quality over quantity and trusting the process.
