Little things that help me feel SAFE at home 🏠

Some of these might feel like it’s “overprotection” but I don’t live in the safest area so any precaution helps me to have a better peace of mind while I’m home alone or when I’m sleeping.

You can never be too safe, and while most of these might not fully stop someone from entering my home, they would definitely set off alarms, give us notice to act, or give me notice if I was away from home.

I love that my cameras and all my alarms are attached to my phone so even if we aren’t home, I’ll get notifications about alarms going off or the camera detecting motion.

I honestly have A LOT of anxiety when it comes to being safe in my home. It’s something that can keep me awake at night if I don’t feel properly protected. Luckily all these items have helped me to fall asleep peacefully and kept me safe 🏠❤️

... Read moreCreating a safe space at home is essential for peace of mind, especially in areas where safety is a concern. Consider installing two locks on your doors and using door stoppers for added security. Glass break alarms can be beneficial on windows to alert you if there’s an attempt to breach. Objects that restrict the full opening of windows can serve as an additional safeguard. Investing in door alarms can also be a wise choice, as they can be triggered when any door is opened. Additionally, having cameras outside your home that send notifications to your phone when motion is detected allows you to monitor your property when you’re not there. With these strategies, you can create a secured environment that helps mitigate anxiety and enhances your overall sense of safety. Remember, every precaution counts, and a little extra security can make a significant difference.
