Time to upgrade?

I’ve had this kindle fire since 2010 (I believe). Yes, I know… it ancient. I’m thinking it may be time for an upgrade as it doesn’t even update anymore. What would you suggest? It being in color is t a huge deal to me. I’m more of a physical book person but I like the option.
