Baby Laundry
It’s just so tiny and frankly annoying to go through, I get the point of sizes I mean we have them as adults but why are some of these 3M outfits looking like they should fit a 6M baby?
Bath Time
We don’t give him a bath every night, what’s the point if he isn’t getting dirty? Once he’s older and more mobile I’m sure he will be getting more baths but for now there’s no point.
Vaccines
Both of our families don’t believe in vaccinating, plus why are we trying to give our young children shots for things they won’t even have to worry about for a while?
Nursing with Teeth
I have seen way too many horror stories about what happens when a baby bites down with teeth and all I have to say about that is no thank you! I don’t want to put myself in a position to be put in the ER by my son, so pumping and bottles will be our go to!

As a first-time mom navigating the early stages of parenting, I’ve found that choosing what’s best for my baby often means breaking away from conventional advice. When it comes to baby laundry, I totally relate to the frustration of tiny, confusing sizes—3 months sometimes feels like it fits more like 6 months! It’s a reminder that babies grow so fast, and sometimes fussing over perfect fits can be a waste of time and energy. Regarding bath time, I’ve also shifted my mindset about daily baths. Babies don't get dirty the way older kids do, so giving them a bath every single night isn’t always necessary. It’s more about comfort and cleanliness than routine. Plus, less frequent baths can help protect delicate skin from drying out. Vaccination decisions can be deeply personal and sometimes divisive. While many parents vaccinate according to recommended schedules, others, including myself, consider family beliefs and weigh risks differently. It’s important to stay informed, consult with trusted healthcare providers, and ultimately make a choice that aligns with your values and your child’s health needs. Lastly, nursing with teeth is a genuine concern! I’ve read my share of horror stories about babies biting during breastfeeding. To avoid pain and potential injuries, pumping and bottle feeding have been my go-to strategies once teeth start coming in. It provides peace of mind while still offering breast milk benefits. Sharing these thoughts has helped me embrace vulnerability and connect with other parents who face similar decisions. Parenting isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it’s empowering to trust your instincts while loving your child your own way.
