Stop trying to “earn” your rest

You don’t have to "qualify" for a break.

For years, you’ve likely operated on a reward system: If the house is clean, I can sit. If the emails are answered, I can sleep. If everyone else is taken care of, I can finally have five minutes to myself.

But that’s a trap.

When you treat rest as something you have to earn, you turn your well-being into a transaction. You stay stuck in a cycle of over-functioning just to "buy" yourself a moment of peace.
