Inconvenient learning?

Why is it when we feel "stupid" and "uncomfortable" the fastest?

- Let's confess here that we were once the ones who believed in such "learning insanity.".."I'm a person who learns through listening, and I can't read a lot," or "I like the chilly atmosphere, if it's so depressing, my brain is off."

- We've been trying to find "convenient learning" because we think that the more comfortable we are, the better we receive information.

- And we're not "choosing the right way." We're just "choosing the way you don't have to try too hard."

- Today I want to talk about the difference between "convenient learning" and "inconvenient learning," which this book is really heartfelt.

- Comfort Zone: The softest pitfall

- Comfortable Learning is that we do what we are good at. Use the same way we are confident. The result is that we do it well, without risk, without shame, and we feel, "Hey, I'm good at it."

- It's like we go to the gym and lift the same weight every day.

We'll feel good to lift, not pain, but our muscles won't grow.

The problem is that we often confuse fluency and progress.

The slippery ability does not mean that we are better, but that we are doing the same thing repeatedly.

- Inconvenience: vital signs of growth.

Uncomfortable Learning, on the other hand, is what Adam Grant says is the "Sweet Spot" of extracting hidden potential.

- It's when you try something new and feel clumsy.

- It's when you speak English and your tongue is tangled in front of someone else.

- It's when you take a difficult project and feel, "Am I going to survive?"

- That feeling uncomfortable, humiliated, or "stupid" at the moment is a sign that says, "Your brain is stretching."

The best learning is not to walk on a smooth path, but to walk up a muddy hill.

- If your feet don't mess up, you're not walking anywhere.

- If you're not feeling a muscle hack, you're not working harder.

- If you don't feel "uncomfortable," you're not really learning anything new.

- When we finish reading, we ask ourselves,..

"When was the last time we let ourselves be clumsy in exchange for new skills?"

- We are often afraid that people are not good at it, so we choose to do what we look like.

But it turns out that the real good people are the ones who dare to be "new" over and over again.

- He dares to ask stupid questions, dares to make mistakes for people, and dares to put himself in the most "uncomfortable" spot, because he knows that the reward at the destination is worth it.

- Comfort is a kind of drug. It makes us happy in the present, but quietly steals our future.

- The unease, it's the "toll" we have to pay to jump to a better version of ourselves.

- If you're feeling uncomfortable today, tired of the challenge, or feeling like you're not at all comfortable...

- Congratulations. You're on the right track.

Because that feeling means you're not walking around in the same little tub, but you're swimming out into a wider ocean.

- Anyone who's been trying to do something difficult and discouraged wants to know that this feeling is "uncomfortable."

- Hold it tight and tell yourself, "I'm growing up."

- What about your friends? Has there been anything "uncomfortable" lately?

Let's share it in case we know we're not alone in the world.

# Let's read the book
