Things I’m working on

2025/10/6 Edited to

... Read moreLately, I’ve been deeply immersed in creating small, vibrant ACEOS (Art Cards, Editions, and Originals) that highlight the delicacy of watercolor and the boldness of ink. ACEOS are miniature artworks that offer artists a perfect platform to experiment with intricate details and vivid expressions on a compact scale, typically 2.5 by 3.5 inches. Watercolor painting itself is a fascinating medium, prized for its ability to convey light, transparency, and texture in ways that few other materials can match. Combining watercolor with ink allows for sharp contrasts and defined outlines, adding a dynamic and structured element to the fluid softness of watercolor washes. This fusion is gaining traction in contemporary art communities, especially during creative events like #Inktober2025, where artists challenge themselves daily with ink drawings. By engaging in this process, I not only enhance my technical skills but also contribute to an active and inspiring community of artists. Sharing my journey under hashtags like #watercolor, #watercolorpainting, #aceoart, #INK, and #inktober2025 helps connect with peers and discover new techniques and styles. For anyone interested in starting with ACEOS or exploring watercolor and ink techniques, the key is patience and embracing experimentation to find your unique artistic voice. Whether you are a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, these small artworks offer a manageable and rewarding format to practice, share, and enjoy the beauty of watercolor and ink art.
