Easy refreshing summer snack ideas
It’s pretty hard to resist an ice cream or popsicle on these hot days, but this mango sorbet recipe will give you the fix you need while still being healthy✨
-Chop up as many mangoes as you desire and freeze for at least a few hours (I do it overnight).
-Add them to your food processor and at this point you can add in whatever you’d like.
-You can add honey for sweetness, or my go to, lime and tajin (always) and blend until smooth.
-If you wanna give a nice presentation, reuse the mango skins as little bowls! (I freeze them as well so they hold shape better) otherwise use whatever you’d like!
-Add whatever toppings you want and enjoy❤️
As summer heats up, it’s essential to have some refreshing snacks on hand. One of the best options is fruit-based desserts, and mango sorbet is a delicious way to cool off while indulging your sweet tooth. Made purely from ripe mangoes, this treat is not only refreshing but also packed with essential vitamins and minerals. For those looking to diversify their snack options, consider other fruits like strawberries, peaches, or even mixed berries. You can blend various fruits into sorbet to create unique flavors and presentations. Additionally, try making fruit skewers with a mix of mango, pineapple, and melon for a quick, nutritious snack. Alternatively, a fruit salad with yogurt topping is another nutritious option that’s great for summer gatherings. Remember, the key to enjoying these summer snacks is balance and moderation, ensuring that they complement your overall diet while providing a refreshing boost on hot days. Exploring healthy snack alternatives like these can contribute to a balanced lifestyle, allowing you to enjoy seasonal flavors guilt-free. Don't forget to garnish your sorbet or fruit dishes with fresh mint leaves for an extra refreshing touch!
