But now, with a quick scan, the app tells me exactly which products are safe and which to avoid, even highlighting problematic ingredients like sorbitol, as I learned when checking a common chewing gum. This tool has become my essential companion for building a truly low FODMAP shopping list, especially at stores like Aldi known for their unique private-label items. Let me share some of my favorite recent Aldi finds that have made it onto my regular rotation, all thanks to Fig's guidance: Savoritz Cheese Crisps Parmesan: Who knew a cheesy snack could be low FODMAP? The Fig app confirmed that mature cheeses, like Parmesan, naturally have very low lactose content, making these a safe and satisfying crunchy treat. Perfect for when I'm craving something savory! As someone looking for gluten-free and gut-friendly alternatives, knowing the nutrition behind these whole grains – providing fiber and essential nutrients without the common FODMAP triggers – is a huge relief. It cooks up beautifully and holds sauces well. Season's Choice Crinkle Cut French Fried Potatoes: Yes, you read that right – fries! These are a fantastic option because they contain only potatoes, sunflower oil, and salt, which are all typically low FODMAP. It's such a relief to find a simple, satisfying side that doesn't hide irritants. Kirkwood Grilled Chicken Breast Strips: Pre-cooked chicken strips are always convenient, but many contain garlic and onion, which are high FODMAP. Fig helped me confirm that these Kirkwood strips are free of those common culprits, making them a quick and easy protein source for salads or stir-fries.
