Some Random Art stuff I’ve done:))

It's always so fun to just let creativity flow without a strict plan, isn't it? I wanted to share a bit more about what inspires these 'random art' moments and why I love just grabbing a pen or brush and seeing what happens. Sometimes, the best pieces come from those spontaneous sessions. Like that black and white line drawing of a person with curly hair – it started with a simple line, and then I just kept adding details. Or the charcoal sketch of a person's face with closed eyes; the dramatic shading just emerged as I worked with the charcoal stick. There's a real freedom in not overthinking it, allowing the art to guide you. For me, 'random art' often means allowing myself to explore different moods and subjects. One day it might be something quirky and a bit dark, like that grotesque cartoon face with a wide, toothy grin in my notebook. The next, it could be a detailed study, like the cat's face with an intense expression, focusing on texture and fine lines. I think it’s important for artists, no matter their skill level, to give themselves permission to create without judgment. Not every piece has to be a masterpiece; sometimes it's just about the process. I often find inspiration in the everyday. A pet can turn into a charming line drawing of a small dog or a detailed sketch of a cat. Other times, it's about capturing an emotion or an abstract idea, which is how I ended up with the purple marker drawing of a melting, distorted face or those two distorted, crying faces on the whiteboard. These aren't meant to be perfect; they're expressions. Exploring different mediums also keeps things exciting. Moving from black and white line drawings to watercolor paintings like that spiky eyeball keeps my creative muscles active. Each medium has its own unique feel and challenges. Ink demands precision, charcoal allows for sweeping gestures, markers are vibrant, and watercolor flows unpredictably. If you're looking to start your own 'random art' journey, my biggest tip is just to start. Grab an inexpensive sketchbook and any drawing tool you have – a pen, a pencil, even a marker. Don't worry about perfection. Try drawing what you see around you, or what you feel, or even just abstract shapes. Draw on napkins, scrap paper, or a whiteboard if you have one! The goal isn't to create something gallery-worthy every time, but to enjoy the act of creation, to experiment, and to discover new ways of expressing yourself.
