One practical tip that helped me was journaling about my feelings and progress regularly. It helped me track moments when I felt I was 'doing better' and gave me space to process complex emotions. Also, setting boundaries with social media and mutual acquaintances helped reduce triggers that prolonged pain. Another important aspect was understanding that healing isn’t linear; some days I felt strong, and other days I needed more self-care. Engaging in activities that reaffirmed my sense of self and worth, like hobbies or mindfulness exercises, accelerated my path to feeling whole again. If you’re dealing with the pain of exfriendships or exrelationships, know that it’s okay to grieve but also to prioritize your own well-being.
