今井書店 田和山のカフェって実際どう？と気になって行ってみたら、想像以上に「本屋×カフェ」が快適でした。リニューアルした今井書店松江本店の中にある「IAM COFFee Pizzeria & Cafe」は、入口がカフェ側にあって入りやすく、書店エリアにもそのまま行ける動線。待ち合わせや、買い物ついでの休憩にぴったりでした。 まず良かったのが、店内にピザ窯があって焼き上げる香りがふわっと漂うところ。ランチ目的で行く人が多いのも納得で、「今井書店 ランチ」で探して来るならこのピザ系は候補に入れて損なしだと思います。混みやすい時間帯は、お昼ど真ん中より少し早め・遅めを狙うと席が取りやすい印象でした。 甘いもの目当てなら、奥出雲産（奥出雲きすきたまご）のプリンはぜひ。見た目のフォルムが可愛いだけじゃなく、卵のコクがしっかりしていて“読書のご褒美”感がありました。ドリンクと合わせると一息つけて、つい長居しちゃいます。 「今書 カフェ」で検索して来る人向けに補足すると、ここは“作業カフェ”というより“本を楽しむカフェ”寄り。店内の雰囲気が本モチーフで、読書好きにはたまらない空気感でした。短時間の休憩にも、購入した本をそのまま読み始めるのにも向いてます。 行く前にチェックしたいポイントは、営業時間が9:00-19:00で長めなこと、定休日なし、駐車場ありなこと。車で行けるのは田和山エリア的にもありがたいです。メニューはモーニング・ランチ・ディナーと時間帯で楽しみ方が変わるので、「今回はプリン、次はピザ」みたいに目的を分けるとリピートもしやすいと思いました。 ※最新の営業時間や提供内容は変わることがあるので、公式アカウントで確認してから行くのがおすすめです。
